Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Soberly handles your data, permissions, subscriptions, analytics, and deletion choices.

1. Data storage and processing

Your core Soberly data (habits, check-ins, goals, avatar, and preferences) is stored locally on your device by default. Unless you explicitly enable cloud syncing in a future version, we do not upload your personal records to our servers.

2. Permissions

Contacts access is used only to select and save trusted supporters in the Guardian feature. Photos access is used only when you choose an avatar. Notifications are used only to send daily reminders. You can disable these permissions in system Settings at any time, and related features may become unavailable.

3. Subscriptions and payment

Subscription purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment information (such as card numbers). We may store your subscription entitlement status locally to unlock Pro features.

4. Analytics and tracking

The current version does not enable third-party advertising tracking and does not collect cross-app behavior that directly identifies you. If we introduce analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate choices.

5. Data deletion

You can use "Delete account data" in the app to remove data stored on this device. This will delete your local habits, records, and related settings.
